About Ingrid Magee – Irish & Ethereal Celtic Singer
Hello there,
I’ve always had a deep passion for music and a love for sharing the beauty of Irish culture and song with audiences around the world. I began my journey singing in choirs across Dublin City, and after studying my craft, I went on to perform leading roles in a number of productions. These include playing Cinderella at the renowned Gaiety Theatre and providing the voice of Agnus in Agnus of God, performed in the Crypt at Dublin Castle.
My voice quickly made me a sought-after performer in Ireland, leading to regular appearances as a vocalist on RTÉ television and at the National Meteor Music Awards in Dublin. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of performing alongside incredible artists such as Lionel Richie and Chris De Burgh.
With an angelic voice and a repertoire that covers folk music to classical, I’ve become a popular choice for weddings, funerals, and special events across Ireland, the UK, and beyond. I’ve also had the honour of touring the USA and Canada as the lead vocalist in Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance, bringing a touch of Irish magic to every stage I step onto.
If you’re looking for guidance on choosing music for an Irish Catholic funeral, I’ve created a video that may help. It explains where songs can be included during the Mass and offers some examples: https://youtu.be/BjJHcdWEQHw?si=Mdpd5zKOidgBhs8T
If you need any help with the selection of songs or the musical process during a Requiem Mass, please feel free to contact me for help.

An Interesting Fact...
Today, Ingrid is expanding her work as an Ethereal Celtic & Cinematic Vocalist, drawing on her Irish heritage, classical training and years of international performance experience. As a lead vocalist in The Enya Experience, she brings her distinctive ethereal voice to the haunting, atmospheric sound of Celtic music. An interesting musical fact about Ingrid is that she also works as a singer for the top ABBA tribute bands in the UK and internationally. In doing so she has sung in many magical places such as Matala Beach Festival, Crete, in front of thousands of people and recently for ABBA's very own Bjorn Ulvaeus nephew in Tenerife at a private party where Bjorn himself made an appearance!
